Dr. Riley Hanberg provides thorough, patient-focused eye care to individuals and families in Newton and surrounding communities. He grew up in Tsawwassen before earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from Queen’s University. He then completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University’s College of Optometry, graduating with distinction and receiving the President’s Award for academic excellence.
Dr. Hanberg has a strong background in comprehensive vision care, with expertise in advanced diagnostic imaging, primary eye care, and pediatric optometry. Before joining Newton Optometry Clinic full-time, he gained experience in Washington State, where he practiced for a year before returning home to the Lower Mainland.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Hanberg enjoys coaching and cheering for his kids at the rink and on the field.
